Pushed Deals: A Deep Dive
Written by Josh Hutter
Welcome back to FMTC’s Tech Corner, where we take a deep dive into our tools and technology. In this article, we are focusing on pushed deals and how you can utilize them. Pushed Deals is a feature available to our Premium Level Merchant Services accounts.
What is Pushed Deals?
Pushed Deals is a feature that allows merchants to publish deals directly into FMTC. Through this feature, those deals can be easily accessed by affiliates integrated with FMTC — even those who are not part of that affiliate program. Pushed Deals highlights deals and helps merchants attract potential partners.
How do you set up a pushed deal?
Simply log in to your FMTC Account and navigate to the “Manage Programs” section.
Once there, select the merchant that you are managing. Select the “Pushed Deals” section and click on “Push a Deal into FMTC.”
A new dialog will pop up, where you can include information for that deal.
Additionally, you can use Deal Scope, which gives you the option to push deals to all FMTC users or only to select ones. If you choose “User Exclusive,” you must know the Affiliate ID from the network of the affiliates that you would like to see this deal.
Once you have pushed this deal into FMTC, return to the Manage Programs – Pushed Deals section. From here you can view the status of your deal or click on “Edit” to make any changes.
By using our Pushed Deals feature, you are getting everything that comes with FMTC — our deal processors will review and check that your deal is ready for affiliates to use. Once the deal has been approved by FMTC, it will go directly to affiliates integrated with FMTC, whether through an API call or the FMTC interface.
Pushed Deals is an easy way to get deals to your affiliates and be seen by potential partners. There is no limit to how many deals you can push into the system, so you can get out there and push as many deals as you currently have!
