FMTC’s Sovrn Commerce integration makes it easier than ever for affiliates and publishers to monetize deal content using ready-to-use affiliate links. By combining FMTC’s data feeds with Sovrn’s sub-affiliate technology, users can quickly scale revenue without complex setup

How the Integration Works

FMTC has added support for Sovrn sub-affiliate links across two of our core API endpoints. This enhancement is available immediately in the following versions:

• deals endpoint: Version 3.3.0
• deal-merchants endpoint: Version 3.1.0

The sovrn_url Field Explained

A new field named sovrn_url has been introduced. This field provides a fully formed, ready-to-use Sovrn monetized URL for each deal or program, automatically populated for programs available through Sovrn. These links are updated twice a day to ensure that the programs are always current. 

This field is optional and acts as an additional monetized link through Sovrn—it does not replace your default affiliate links that you receive through the program platforms. If you’d prefer to monetize through Sovrn, or want to test performance across multiple affiliate networks, this gives you a seamless way to integrate.

How to Enable Sovrn in FMTC

The sovrn_url field will only populate for:

• FMTC subscribers with an active Sovrn Commerce account, and
• Those who’ve provided their Sovrn Commerce API key to FMTC

Not set up yet? Just contact your FMTC Account Manager and provide your Sovrn API key (here is how to get your Sovrn API key). Once your key has been received and your account is linked, FMTC will automatically begin including Sovrn affiliate URLs in the sovrn_url field for all applicable deals and merchants. If your account has not been configured for Sovrn, this field will return a null value. If a particular deal or merchant is not available in Sovrn, the field will also return a null value.
