Meet Steve Thompson, software developer at FMTC!
How long have you worked at FMTC? What is your current role?
A little over one year. My current role is software developer.
What do you like most about your job?
I really like the ability to think both creatively and logically.
What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?
Take the time to plan and hash out designs. It will save a lot of time and rework.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
I love to play sports. I usually play volleyball, softball, tennis, and golf in my free time.
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?
I’ve lived in 5 different states . . . and counting. It’s really nice to get all the different local perspectives and cultures. Even though we’re all the same country, there are some differences that make each state unique.
Where’s your favorite place in the world?
Still trying to figure it out.

Don’t mistake kindness as a sign of weakness.

Kind, inclusive, and curious.
