This week in FMTC’s Affiliate Roundup: eBay integrated eBay Live with the eBay Partner Network. Phia was suspended by impact.com over alleged affiliate attribution issues. Google will disclose when ads are created or edited with AI.


• The Performance Marketing Association has released its 2026 U.S. Brand Survey, offering new insights into how advertisers are using affiliate marketing and where brands see the channel heading next. 

• Lazada has joined Meta’s Affiliate Partnerships program, expanding social shopping and creator monetization across Southeast Asia. 

Meta and Shopee have expanded their affiliate partnership to Instagram, enabling creators to earn commissions by promoting Shopee products directly through the platform. 

• eBay has integrated eBay Live with the eBay Partner Network, allowing affiliates to earn commissions by promoting eligible livestream shopping events and purchases. 

Phia, the AI shopping startup co-founded by Phoebe Gates, was temporarily suspended by impact.com following allegations of improper affiliate commission attribution. 

• Google will now disclose when ads are created or edited with AI, expanding transparency across Search, YouTube, and Discover. 

• AdExchanger reports that spending on made-for-advertising (MFA) sites is rising as AI-generated content floods the web, raising new concerns about ad quality and media waste.
