FMTC’s Recap of Affiliate Summit East 2018

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

Our team had a great time attending Affiliate Summit East in NYC, where FMTC was a silver sponsor. The event took place July 29-31 in the Marriott Marquis in Times Square. Affiliate Summit gathers thousands of representatives from all over the affiliate industry. This includes merchants, agencies, affiliates, solution providers, and more.

We kicked off Sunday morning with a handful of meetings, and Brook attended the PMA Brunch. Afterward, we were able to connect and meet new people at our Meet Market table.

Before the party, we had the opportunity to attend the AWIN/ShareASale Runway Event. We enjoyed the event, which included a glam bar and a runway show with collections from SheIn, Fanatics, Superdry, and more. As usual, the ShareASale party was a blast, and we connected with a lot of old and new faces there as well.

Our team kept busy on Monday with many productive meetings, and some of us attended sessions during the day. Favorite sessions included “How to Execute Profitable Influencer Deals” by Michael Pomposello, and “Copywriting That Converts” by Debra Pivko. Although we only had a little downtime, Amy and Melanie squeezed in a latte demoed by SelFee in the VIP lounge:

Later, we stopped by to visit the wonderful folks at LinkConnector for a happy hour, and attended the TUNE/Fluent partner event in Manhattan. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the Empire State Building and some more team bonding.

Our team is entirely remote, so ASE doubles as an exciting time to get some face-time together. Tuesday morning, we took off for a team retreat nearby in New Jersey to unite with the team who didn’t attend Affiliate Summit.

As always, ASE was productive, busy and a lot of fun. Our team truly enjoyed connecting with our clients, friends, and partners. We look forward to seeing you in January at ASW!
