If you’ve been to the mall lately or your local coffee shop, you know that the Christmas season is already in full swing. All the fall and Thanksgiving items are already on sale and anything Christmas-related is being promoted at full force. Put simply, pumpkin spice is out and peppermint is in! It seems every year people are starting the Christmas season earlier and earlier, and with that – their Christmas shopping.
A Quick Word of Advice
As an advertiser, you should already have your holiday promotions and game plan in place. If you’re behind, definitely make that top priority over anything else. Many of the advertisers we work with already have sent their Black Friday and Cyber Monday newsletters, which means you should too.
Don’t forget to also prep your website and make any changes or updates to support your promotions. One big thing we often see are coupons that are supposed to be live but the landing pages do not reflect these special offers and the codes do not work upon testing. This means we have to put the offer in our Hold Queue and email the program manager we have on file. Don’t let this happen to you!
Make sure you test every offer and have everything in working order. This will help get your offers added to our feed and onto publishers’ sites as quickly as possible. If you need to make last-minute changes to offers you have already submitted at the network, or are already available in our feed, please email email@example.com and we’ll make sure the changes are made.
Best of luck during this busy time of year and have a wonderful holiday season!
