I am guessing if you have purchased NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chips you know how delicious the recipe on the back of the bag for Original NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Cookies are. Nate says these are his “specialty” at home. He recommends adding 1 teaspoon baking powder and using butter-flavored Crisco instead of butter. Also, the key is to remove them from the oven before they appear to be done and to make sure you take 5 minutes before you transfer them to cooling racks.

Sam prefers baking over cooking, with her expertise being in cupcakes. Although there are many variations of frostings, fillings and cakes flavors, she highly recommends Creamsicle Cupcakes.

Amy is quite the baker also, but when she is not making cakes for her kiddos, she enjoys making one of her favorites, Super-Delicious Zuppa Toscana. She admits it definitely lives up to its name.

To wow your guests and family, try using Larissa’s go to recipe for making homemade flour tortillas. She recommends you use Crisco butter sticks instead of the shortening to obtain perfection. You will never want to eat store-bought ones again.

If your stomach was not already growling, it might be now. Sometimes the best recipes are those that remind you of family, and the great times you have together. Nicole feels that way about Peruvian Pesto (Tallarines Verdes). YUM!

Blueberry Buckle
Blueberry Buckle
Megan says “it’s too hard to just pick one,” so instead she has shared two of her favorites. One is a recipe that has been passed down from her grandma, Hungarian Chicken Paprikash With Dumplings. That is not the exact one she uses, but it is pretty close. The best thing to know is it will take all day to cook, but is definitely worth it. Secondly, check out this one for Blueberry Buckle Coffee Cake.

Alison McFadden

Some people say they can’t cook and order takeout, others are like Alison and have found ways to use a Crock Pot or Instant Pot to make delicious wonders at home. Her creations of skinny garlic chicken, bbq chicken wings, and slow cooker vegetable soup sound delish, she seems like quite the cook if you ask me.

Are you looking for something a bit healthier? Look no further, Eric loves to make protein pancakes. Although sometimes it is a matter of what ingredients are left in the fridge and cupboards, he recommends any of these scrumptious flapjacks. Just make sure you top them with peanut butter.

Kim Cashwell

Everyone in her house LOVES to cook so it was not easy to narrow it down, but one of her favorite things to make when the weather cools off is soup. Lots of veggies and protein without too many carbs, makes it still feel like a “comfort food”. Not an original, but she came across Lemony Chicken Spring Veggie Soup. A delicious alternative is homemade chicken soup, add fresh lemon juice, and top it with slices of avocado or fresh basil.

Banana Muffins
Banana Muffins
I like to call myself a short order cook at home, mostly because I am the queen of creating something out of whatever happens to be hanging out in the fridge. But, when it comes to baking I stick to the recipe. My go to is Awesome Banana Muffins. They taste amazing every time, and by adding chocolate chips ensures they never last more than a few days in my house.

Whether you prefer a “sprinkle” of sweet, or a “dash” of salty- try these out, or better yet, post some recommendations for our team below. Our tummies thank you!
