Whether you’re newer to affiliate marketing or have been in the industry for years, there is always something new to learn! The performance marketing world is constantly evolving so staying educated is the key to success. One of the ways I stay involved is by being a member of the Performance Marketing Association. I also volunteer as the chair of the Coupons & Deals Council, which writes guides and articles to help educate others in the industry.

Basics of the Performance Marketing Association

In a nutshell, the PMA is a non-profit that strives to make a difference in the performance marketing industry. The PMA’s main goals are to:

  • Promote the growth of the industry
  • Help model standards and best-practices
  • Advocate on behalf of the businesses in the industry

The PMA Councils release helpful whitepapers, infographics, surveys, and guides throughout the year. Take a look at some of the recent resources they’ve released here. The Councils are always looking for new members who are willing to participate and share their knowledge. You can learn more about getting involved here.
